Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation device, along with an image formation device and a transportation method, enabling removing of a wrinkle on an object to be transported with more easiness and surety.SOLUTION: A transportation device includes a first roller part provided so as to abut a transportation surface, a second roller part provided so as to abut the first roller part, a transportation stage part which transports an object to be transported that is placed on the transportation surface through an abutment portion between the first roller part and the second roller part as well as an abutment portion between the first roller part and the transportation surface, a roller support part which rotatably supports the first roller part and the second roller part, a roller position change part which moves the first roller part to abut with the transportation surface, a roller-roller distance change part which moves at least one of the first roller part and the second roller part for abutment, and a roller position control part. While any one of the abutment operation by the roller position change part and the abutment operation by the roller-roller distance change part is made, the roller position control part perform the other abutment operation.
