Abstract:
To provide a transportation device capable of lifting an article of prescribed weight by a horizontal multi-joint arm, transporting the article by moving a prescribed distance, and placing the article at another place by the horizontal multi-joint arm.SOLUTION: A transportation device 1 comprises: a horizontal multi-joint arm 50 that can support an article L to be transported; and a lifter 10 that can liftably support the horizontal multi-joint arm 50. The horizontal multi-joint arm 50 has a plurality of unit arms 51, 52, and 53 connected together. The unit arms 51, 52, and 53 have pairs of horizontal arms 511, 521, and 531 that oppose each other in a vertical direction and extend in a horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
