PURPOSE: To efficiently load and transport a sintering boat by providing a plurality of lift devices and a conveyor for moving back and forth in the transporting direction with a pitch distance of the lift device.
CONSTITUTION: First, a sintering boat 1 is loaded on a conveyor bed 2 at a position A of a first lift device 3 upstream side the transporting direction. Second, the conveyor bed 2 is proceeded with a back and forth conveyor 4 to convey the sintering boat l to B position of a second lift device 3. Third, the sintering boat 1 is lifted with the lift device 3 at the position B and only the conveyor bed 2 is returned to the original position. At this moment, a new sintering boat 1 is loaded on the conveyor bed 2 at the first lift device position A. Then, the lift device 3 is lowered and the sintering boat 1 is again loaded on the conveyor bed 2 to advance the conveyor bed 2, and send the sintering boat 1 to the third lift device position C. The sintering boat 1 is lifted with this lift device 3 and only the bed 2 is again returned to the original position. This process is repeated.
