To provide a transporting and heat insulating sheet for a heat- laminated material having a structure which can control a drop in temperature during the transportation of the material for reducing the amount of the mate rial to be discarded and with which the sheet is stable in size and the material can peel well when the sheet is hot.
This relates to a member 1 for transportation and heat insulation used in transporting a heat laminated material to a site of pavement or a restoration site from a plant. The member is a laminated body laminated at least on one face of a support body with a non-woven fabric formed by entwining short fibers. The support body or the short fiber comprises at least one of the materials chosen from a polyimide fiber, a polyphenylenesulfide fiber, an alamido fiber and a glass fiber. The laminated body has an apparent gap ratio of 70-98%, a thickness 1-10 mm, and a dry heat shrinkage factor is 1.0% or less in both longitudinal and transverse directions at 180°C×60 minutes.
