Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a mechanical strength, facilitate manufacturing and reduce cost of a transporting roll set in a furnace in which a heated item is supported and transported within an industrial furnace such as a continuous vacuum furnace, a non-oxidization continuous heat treatment furnace in which a high temperature heat treatment is continuously carried out.
CONSTITUTION: A longitudinal rod-like roll main body 1 having a polygonal shaped section is formed by a heat-resistant raw material. A heated item supporting ring 3 of which outer circumferential surface 3a has a true circle and of which inner circumferential surface 3c is formed into a polygonal shape coinciding with an outer circumferential surface of the roll main body 1 is fixed to the roll main body 1.
