PURPOSE: To provide a trash container which increases extremely in trash containing capacity and saves extremely much trouble to take out the trash.
CONSTITUTION: In a trash container which contains refuse, a throwing-in opening 5 in which the trash is thrown in formed in the upper part of the trash container 1, and also the width of the inner wall surface of the trash container 1 is continuously or intermittently narrowly formed from its bottom part through its upper part. The trash container 1 consists of divided members 1a, 1b which are divided into left and right parts and freely opened. The throwing-in opening 5 is provided with a cover body 6 closing it. And the lower part 62 of the cover body 6 is formed in a compressed part to be inserted into the trash container 1 when the throwing in opening 5 is closed. A plural stage annular projecting pieces 4 inwardly projected from the inner wall surface of the trash container 1 are formed on the inner wall surface of the trash container 1, and the inside width of the trash container 1 is intermittently narrowly formed by these projecting pieces 4.
