Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel controller for a vehicle capable of preventing a vehicle desired to stop from the outside from traveling while selecting a place that does not disturb other vehicles as much as possible without lowering brake performance.
SOLUTION: In a step S01, if vehicle communication equipment 2 receives an automatic stop request from the outside of the vehicle, in a step S17, when the position of the vehicle on a map is judged to be an appropriate position assumed not to disturb the other vehicles and in a step S19, when the vehicle is judged to be in a stop state, in a step S20, a brake 8 outputs a braking start command that gives braking force to a brake actuator 7.
