Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform the speed change operation by a single speed change lever correctly and safely by providing a clutch restraining device disengaging a main clutch even if an operation switch is turned off when the speed change position of the speed change lever is not detected by an operation position sensor. CONSTITUTION:When the speed change position is selected by the operation of a speed change lever 3, an operation switch 5 is turned off at this position. Thereby, a main clutch 4 is engaged, and a speed change transmitting device is operated. In this case, if an operation position sensor 9 is in a state that it can detect the speed change position of the speed transmitting device by the speed change lever 3 and it detects that the speed change has been correctly performed, the main clutch 4 is engaged when the operation switch 5 is turned off. If the operation position sensor 9 does not detect the correct speed change position, the main clutch 4 is disengaged by a clutch restraining device 10 even if the operation switch 5 is turned off.
