PURPOSE: To easily carry out maintenance work by installing the left and right caterpillar type traveling devices so as to be turned to the outside for the machine body.
CONSTITUTION: A machine body frame 3 is installed at the upper position of a caterpillar type traveling device 2. The traveling device 2 is constituted by laying a caterpillar band 9 over a rolling wheel 5 group and an idler wheel 6 which are supported on a rolling wheel frame 4 and a sprocket 8 driven from a transmission case. A frame foot F which is directed aslantly downward from the left/right and front/rear places of the frame 3 is installed, and at the lower edge part on the front side, the front part of the frame 4 is axially installed in turnable manner in the lateral direction by a fulcrum point pin 14. Further, at the lower edge part on the rear side, the rear part of the frame 4 is installed in demountable manner by an installation pin 15. With this constitution, the frame 4 can be turned in the lateral direction to the outside of the machine body 1, around the pin 14, by demounting the pin 15. Though the frame 4 can be turned by lifting up the frame 3 by a jack, etc., the frame 4 can be easily turned by the traveling drive of the device 2.
