PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling system of a traveling body which previously determines the speed of the traveling body in compliance with circuit and allows the traveling body to travel at the determined speed.
SOLUTION: This traveling system consists of the circuit 15 which has a plurality of marks 13 capable of reflecting light at the reflection efficiently different from that of a general traveling road on a traveling road 11, the traveling body 20 which has a drive means 16 capable of traveling along the traveling road 11, a light projecting section 24 which is mounted at the traveling body 20 and is capable of projecting light to the marks 13 during the traveling of the traveling body 20, a light receiving section 26 which is mounted at the traveling body 20, receive the light of the light projecting section 24 reflected by the marks 13 and outputs light reception signals, a speed level switching section 30 which is mounted at the traveling body 20 and transmits the signals to switch the speed level to the previously inputted speed level in accordance with the reception signals from the light receiving section 26 to the drive means 16 and an input section 32 which sets the speed level by each of the plurality of marks 13 and inputs the speed level to the speed level switching section 30.
