PURPOSE: To provide a traveling toy-guiding device capable of changing at will the course of the traveling toy and with a simple and economical structure.
CONSTITUTION: When a self-propelling body 30 travels on the lower surface side of a course plate 10, a model vehicle 1 magnetically coupled with the self-propelling body 30 is guided by the self-propelling body 30 to move on the course plate 10. Respective collector brushes 37, 38 of the self-propelling body 30 make contact respectively with electrodes 11, 21 of the course plate 10 and underfloor traveling plate 20 on the lower surface side of the course plate 10 to drive the self-propelling body 30 with electric power supplied from the respective electrodes 11, 21. Then, the upper collector brush 37 makes contact with an arbitrary conductive strip 11a at the course plate 10 side and the lower collector brush 38 makes contact with an arbitrary conductive strip 21a at the underfloor traveling plate 20 side, so that the course direction and widthwise positions of the self-propelling body 30 are judged by discrimination signals detected from the respective conductive strips 11a, 21a and thereby the action of the self-propelling body 30 is controlled.
