The traveling toy includes a traveling body and the traveling passage. The traveling body comprises: a receiving means for receiving outer operating information; a control means for performing control based on the information received by the receiving means; a driving means for rotating wheels by a control signal from the control means; a storing means for supplying electric power to the driving means; and a connecting means which is connected to the storing means to charge the storing means from the outer part of the traveling body. The traveling passage includes: a power source for supplying electric power; and a power supplying means which is connected to the power source, brought into contact with the connecting means of the traveling body, and supplying power.
