PURPOSE: To provide a toy capable of being miniaturized as a whole and being traveled while sounding multiple whistles having excellent sound quality at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: A traveling toy 1 is provided with the first whistle section 4 constituted of multiple whistles 41 provided in parallel in the width direction on the bottom section of a vehicle body 3, the second whistle section 5 constituted of multiple whistles 5 provided in parallel in the width direction at an interval in the travel direction from the first whistle section 4, whistle ports 41a, 51a provided between the whistle sections 4, 5 to face the whistles 41, 51, a blast means 6 feeding air into the whistles 41, 51 of the whistle sections 4, 5 through the whistle ports 41a, 51a, and a valve member 7 arranged vertically movably to open or close the whistle ports 41a, 51a respectively. The valve member 7 has a contact section 73 opening or closing the whistle ports 41a, 51a at the upper section, the lower section of the valve member 7 penetrates the bottom face of the vehicle body 3, and a slant face 75 brought into contact with projections 24 on a travel board 2 to move the valve member 7 upward is formed at the lower end.
