To constitute a traveling vehicle of compact constitution capable of traveling in a narrow place and in the stable state of a machine body even on the ground surface with rough unevenness.
In this traveling vehicle, a traveling drive device, a placing part 4 and a control handle 5 are arranged in order from the front side, and the control handle 5 is provided at the rear end part of the machine body. The control handle 5 is constituted to be movable forward and backward with respect to the traveling drive device. A front side traveling wheel 2 is provided on the front side of the placing part 4, and the control handle 5 is provided on the rear side of the placing part 4. The placing face of the placing part 4 is provided in a lower position than the upper end of the front side traveling wheel 2 and the control handle 5.
