The traveling vehicle includes a steering box 120 including a controlling body turnable around a mutually orthogonal turning axis line and speed-changing axis line. The traveling vehicle is constituted so that the transmission 54 for the turning may be operated by the positive or reverse turning of the controlling body around the turning axis line accompanied by the operation of the turning operation tool, and the transmission for the straight advancement may be operated by the positive or reverse turning of the controlling body around the speed-changing axis line accompanied by the operation of the straight advancement operation tool. The steering box 120 is arranged in a side column 12 positioned at the center side in the right and left direction of the traveling machine body 1 in the steering unit 9 provided in the traveling machine body.
