To implement coasting in a traveling vehicle that can travel on the track and on the road.
A traveling vehicle 1 can switch a road traveling mode and a track traveling mode. During the road traveling mode, traveling is performed only with road traveling tires 3 and 4 by retracting track traveling wheels 5 and 6 upward through elevation actuators 7 and 8. During the track traveling mode, traveling is performed in the state where the track traveling wheels are moved down by the elevation actuators and the track traveling wheels and the pair of road traveling tires performing torque transport are grounded on rails. The traveling vehicle 1 includes a coasting control device 90 in which, in the case where a predetermined execution condition is detected during traveling under the track traveling mode, a front-side or rear-side elevation actuator or both the actuators are operated in a falling direction and the pair of road traveling tires grounded on the rails are allowed to take off.
