Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a traverse acceleration detector for vehicle in which the accuracy of detection value is prevented from lowering.
CONSTITUTION: The traverse acceleration detector for vehicle determines a traverse acceleration being applied to a vehicle using a traverse acceleration sensor M1 fixed to the vehicle. A roll angle estimation means M2 estimates the roll angle of vehicle, based on a traverse acceleration detected by the traverse acceleration sensor M1. A roll angle correction means M3 corrects the traverse acceleration detected by the traverse acceleration sensor M1, based on an estimated roll angle.
