PURPOSE: To simplify the construction of a tray conveyor, by supporting a tray on the top of a truck, and rotating a rotor clockwise or counterclockwise on the truck through a rotating operated section to tilt the tray rightward or leftward to sort a cargo from the tray.

CONSTITUTION: When a truck 1 carrying a cargo on a tray 5 kept horizontal has reached a sorting place, a rotor 10 is rotated counterclockwise through a left-hand cam-followed roller 11a if a sorting chute is at the right of a conveyance passage. As a result, a pair of right and left support rollers 13a, 13b and a tilting roller 15 are rotated together counterclockwise about a fixed vertical shaft 8 and the tilting roller 15 pushes a movable member 17 leftward through an engaged two-arm portion 24 so that the tray 5 is tilted rightward about a front-to-rear support shaft 7 through a bracket 6 and a pair of guide rods 18 which support the movable member 17. Consequently, the cargo on the tray 5 drops into the right-hand sorting chute.
