PURPOSE: To have a sure transport of cards by setting upright a stopper, which is to put the cards in alignment through collision of one of the side-edges of a card againt the sendout side-faces of other cards, and by arranging so that it goes under the transport surface of the card when the cover of card setting tray is shut.

CONSTITUTION: A stopper 7 is set upright which is to put cards in alignment by allowing the side-edge of a card 11 to run against the sendout side-faces of the cards 11 piled on a card setting tray 1 having a cover 2. When the cover 2 is shut, a pin 13 fixed to this cover 2 will drive a link mechanism 3 to permit the stopper 7 to go under the transport surface of the card. The setting of card is completed and transport shall now follow, when the oversurface of the uppermost card of those stored on the tray is in contact with a prefeed roll 5, which rotates to send cards surely one after another for the feed roll 9.
