PURPOSE: To prevent the dripping of liquid drops and the oscillation by providing a shape retaining material to a liquid introducing pipe for introducing a treating liquid for treating ozone generated in a corona generating section in the title ozone treating apparatus of an electrostatic air cleaner.

CONSTITUTION: Ozone is generated by the discharge of corona in an ozonization section consisting of an ionization line 26 and a counter electrode 27. Passing dust is charged at the ionization section, and collected at a dust collecting section on the downstream side. An ozone treating liquid 23 is passed through the inside of an introducing pipe 21 from a vessel 24, vaporized from the leading end of a capillary fiber 26, dispersed into an air passage 25, and allowed to react with the generated ozone. A shape retaining material 26 is furnished in the capillary fiber to control the flection of a liquid introducing pipe wherein liquid is passed and the shape at the leading end. Consequently, the dripping and trickling down of liquid drops at the leading end are prevented, and the optional shape can be retained.
