PURPOSE: To effect the punching of a hole and the padding of the hole with the resin automatically in a concurrent process in spite of the size of the hole at the punched edge face by a method wherein the resin is supplied to the punched edge face to pad the peripheral rim of the hole with the resin concurrently with the punching of the synthetic resin coated steel sheet.
CONSTITUTION: The treating device for the punched edge face of the synthetic resin coated steel sheet, for coating the edge face with the resin concurrently with the punching of the synthetic resin coated steel sheet, is provided with a punch 4 for punching the synthetic resin coated steel sheet 2 to open the hole 3, a pushing tube 5 for surrounding the outer periphery of the punch 4 and pushing the upper surface of the synthetic resin coated steel sheet 2 with the lower end face thereof upon punching, and a resin supplying path 7 for supplying the regin 6 into a space between the inner periphery of the lower end of the pushing tube 5 and the outer periphery of the lower part of the punch 4 to pad the edge face of the hole upon punching. Further, a resin coating device, having elastic layers 9, 9 at the outer periphery of a pair of upper and lower rolls 8, 8 for pushing the resin around the hole into the internal peripheral surface of the hole to adhere the resin padded around the hole to the internal periphery of the hole, is also provided in this device.
