Abstract:
To reuse low-cost coke of small particle size and to reduce the using amount of expensive coke of large diameter in the case of melting and treating waste in a coke bed type refuse melting furnace.
A waste charging port is provided directly above the second stage tuyere (second tuyere) separately from the charging port of the upper part of the shaft of a vertical furnace having a multistage tuyere in the height direction of the furnace at a hearth and the wall of a shaft. Coke of small particle size is mixed with waste and charged from the charging port. Particularly, the inner diameter of the port for mixing and charging the coke of small particle size with the waste from directly above the secondary tuyere is set less than 40cm.
