To provide technology by which inhibition or prevention for generation of environmental pollution, reduction of space, resource conservation, automation, reduction of treatment cost, valuables treatment of solid waste and large volume reduction of solid waste or the like are satisfied in a method and a device for treating combustion products.
Smoky gas, ashes 3 and other combustion products are generated in a combustion furnace 61 and a liquid spout (jet) is caused in the converging pipe 81 of a combined transfer system 80. In such a case, while transferring the combustion products in the combustion furnace 61 to a sedimentation tank 70 side through the combined transfer system 80, the combustion products are allowed to collide against the liquid jet in the converging pipe 81 and ashes 3 and particulates contained in smoky gas are adsorbed in the jet liquid. Thereby, when adsorption liquid mixed with gas, solid and liquid flows into the sedimentation tank 70 from the converging pipe 81, gas is exhausted to the outside of the sedimentation tank 70 and particulates (solid) 4 are sedimented in the sedimentation tank 70.
