PURPOSE: To provide the technique for the rational treatment of crude refuse which drastically reduces the weight of the crude refuse generated from respective homes, etc., by concentrically treating the crude refuse in a generating source, subjects the crude refuse to a fermentation treatment by using biological technology so as to reutilize the crude refuse as a fertilizer and does not become the source for malodors and pollution, i.e., has no environmental load.
CONSTITUTION: This crude refuse treating device for group houses produces matured compost by subjecting the products obtd. by the stages consisting of the coupling of a stage 6 for crushing the crude refuse generated in the respective houses of the group houses and transferring, aggregating and storing the crushed crude refuse, a stage 7 for separating the crushed and stored crude refuse to solid contents and water, a stage 9 for adding and mixing a moisture adjusting agent to and with the solid contents, and a stage 10 for adding and mixing the fermentation bacteria to the solid contents and subjecting the solid contents to a primary fermentation treatment by heating the same and passing air therethrough to secondary fermentation by utilizing the heat generated in the above-mentioned primary fermentation stage.
