Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the volume of decomposable organic matter to make it harmless in an extremely short time without deteriorating the environment.
SOLUTION: A method of treating decomposable organic matter in which corrosive organic matter is housed in a treating tank 10 and electromagnetic waves are irradiated to it while it is agitated therein is provided. The treating tank 10 for housing decomposable organic matter, an agitator 12 for agitating organic matter in the treating tank 10, and an electromagnetic waves irradiating device for irradiating electromagnetic waves to the agitated decomposable organic matter are provided.
