Abstract:
PURPOSE: To immobilize carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide in combustion exhaust gas using fine alagae.
CONSTITUTION: Exhaust gas is passed through a culture solution wherein a liquid medium and a single kind of or plural kinds of thermophilic fine algae, acidophilic fine algae or acidophile and thermofile algae as fine algae are allowed to coexist at room temp. or high temp. under the irradiation with light to remove carbon dioxide or carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas.
