PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of filters used for production of magnetic tape, etc., and a solid phase refuse captured by the filter and to recover the solvent contained in the solid phase refuse.

CONSTITUTION: The filters and residue are pulverized in a vessel 11. The pulverized matter is heated by a jacket 26. The solvent is drawn out of the vessel 11 to a condenser 33 by a pump 43. The condensate settled in this condenser 33 is collected in a vessel 38. The solvent is circulated.
