Abstract:
PURPOSE: Electric furnace refining performed by dividing lower-grade Ni oxide ore into two parts, reducing the one part with coke in an electric furnace, then polletizing the lower-grade ferro-nickel obtained thereby, thereafter blending these pellets into the abovementioned oxide ore of the other half.
