To provide a treatment method lowering waste water COD value without using a virgin raw material, and a treatment apparatus.
The treatment method is for waste water containing organic waste containing organic matter of a high boiling point and a low boiling point, and inorganic waste containing water-soluble and water-insoluble inorganic matter. The method includes following processes: (1) a process for solid/liquid separation wherein the waste water is separated into water and a first solid content containing the organic matter of a low boiling point and a high boiling point and inorganic waste by heating and distilling; (2) a process for obtaining a second solid content by treating the first solid content with the organic matter of a low boiling point and separating the organic matter of a high boiling point together with the organic matter of a low boiling point; (3) a process for obtaining a third solid content containing waste water treated containing water-soluble inorganic matter and water-insoluble inorganic matter by treating the second solid content with water, and separating the third solid content from the waste water treated, and the COD value of the waste water treated is ≤5,000 ppm.
