Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of a black liquid capable of easily performing a treatment of a black liquid by removing silicon dioxide from the black liquid.SOLUTION: The provided treatment method of a black liquid treats a black liquid obtained by removing pulp from a digestion liquid formed as a result of the digestion of biomass by using at least either of caustic soda and sodium carbonate and includes a first treatment step of removing silicon dioxide from the black liquid, and the first treatment step includes a pH adjustment step of inducing the deposition of silicon dioxide by adjusting the pH of the black liquid.
