Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for a valuable metal recovery treatment liquid which can efficiently remove an organic solvent contained in a treatment liquid, used in a valuable metal recovery process and discharged, from an aqueous phase to reduce COD and TOC of a waste liquid.SOLUTION: The treatment liquid used in the process for recovering valuable metals from a lithium ion battery and discharged is contacted and mixed with a washing solvent whose main component is hydrocarbon to extract the organic solvent contained in the treatment liquid. It is preferable that an electric discharge liquid obtained by electrically discharging the lithium ion battery is added to the washing solvent.
