Title:
TREATMENT OF SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000098552
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a treating method of a silver halide photographic sensitive material for printing plate making by which changes of pH of a developer and changes of sensitivity of the photosensitive material are not caused even after running treatment with small replenishment and contamination of the environment is avoided.

In the treating method of a photosensitive material containing hyrazine derivs., the photosensitive material is treated with a developer which contains no hydroquinone but a compd. expressed by the formula as the developing agent. The pH of the developer is controlled to 8.5 to 10.5, and one of the rollers of a roller conveyor type automatic developing machine is continuously rotated when films are treated while it is intermittently rotated and stopped in the standby period. In the formula, each of R1, R2 stands for an alkyl group, amino group, alkoxy group, or an alkylthio group and may have substituents or may form a bond with each other to form a ring, k is 0 or 1, and when k=1, X is -CO- or -CS- and each of M1, M2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal.
