Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for suppressing formation of a biofilm on an inner surface of a liquid conduit, for suppressing contamination, a mechanism for sterilizing a liquid in the conduit, and a mechanism for executing both of suppression of formation of a biofilm, and sterilization.SOLUTION: A sterilizer comprises a conduit for transporting a flowing liquid. The conduit has a first refraction index. A sheath body surrounds the conduit and has a second refraction index. The second refraction index is lower than the first refraction index. The sterilizer comprises a light source for generating sterilization light and emitting the sterilization light into the conduit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
