To cut treatment cost by efficiently stirring putrescible waste diffused and accumulated thinly over a drying lane with the help of a simple device construction, and also achieve an effective deodorizing effect by using an easily maintainable and small-size filter device.

A stirring device is equipped with a base which travels along a guide rail arranged on both side parts of the drying lane and a plow, installed on the base, which has an arm and a plow body of an almost triangular section arranged at the tip part of the arm. The plough body has a top part with a sharply angled tip which is set to point to a direction in which the base proceeds. A deodorizing device is made up of a case body, a drive means for driving the case body and a plurality of air-permeable adsorptive material layers packet in the case body. Each of adsorptive materials packed in the adsorptive material layer is of a microgranular shape and the drive means conveys at least either of motions such as rotational, turning and vibratory to the case body.
