Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a waste food oil transportable within a short time at normal temperature by dispersing either one of fatty acid and sodium hydroxide, etc., in waste food oil and adding the other one to the dispersion to form a gel or paste.
CONSTITUTION: Either one of (A) 30-400 pts.wt. of a hydroxide of one or more metals selected from Na, K, Ca and Mg and (B) 100 pts.wt. of a fatty acid (preferably lower fatty acid or unsaturated fatty acid) is dispersed in waste food oil at normal temperature and then the other one is added to the dispersion to form a gel or paste.
