Abstract:
PURPOSE: To regenerate waste oil as a fuel for Diesel engine, by a method wherein waste oil is heat-treated at a specified temperature, filtered and then flowed downward on the surface of an iron plate equipped with a magnet to remove metallic powder.
CONSTITUTION: Waste oil 1A such as used engine oil stored in a fuel tank 1, is supplied to a heating tank 2 where the waste oil is heat-treated at a temp. of 60W 90°C by a heating burner 2A. Then the waste oil is introduced into a filtration tank where the waste oil is filtered. Then the waste oil is flowed downwards on the surface of an iron plate equipped with the magnet to remove metallic powder such as iron powder.
