Abstract:
To provide a basic aid that can accurately perform tri-fold desk work of documents such as A4 size or letter size with the ease of folding in half.SOLUTION: A first step is to convert the tri-fold problem into a bi-fold problem. A second step is to perform the converted two bi-folds. Here, the work done by a user is only the second step. The method of conversion is to add the one-third length add-on to the total length of the paper. Since the size of the target paper is known, the length of the add-on is known. In this way, the problem is converted into a four-fold, and it is returned to a two bi-folds. Specifically, only the add-on is incorporated in the actual plate. This method is also applicable to the case where the width of both sides is different from that of the center, as in the case of inner tri-fold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
