NEW MATERIAL: A compd represented by formula I (wherein R1 is H, halogen, hydroxy, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, nitro or trifluoromethyl and R2 is H, halogen, hydroxy, 1-6C alkyl or 1-6C alkoxy) and its salt.
EXAMPLE: Dihydro-1-(3-bromomethyl)-4-methyl-1,2,4-triazine-3,5(2H,4H)-dione.
USE: This new material has leucotriene and enzyme 5-lipoxygenase inhibiting action and useful for treating asthma, bronchities, allergic nasitis, an inflammatory intestinal disease, arthrities and a skin disease.
PROCESS: A compd. represented by formula II [wherein R6 is a groupOR8 (R8; lower alkyl), R7 is a group-NHMe or R6 is a group-NHMe and R7 is a removing group)] is cyclized in a solvent (e.g.; methanol) at room temp. by using a base (e.g.; sodium methoxide) to obtain the compd. represented by formula I.
