Abstract:
To provide a compound which is useful as a charge transfer agent for electrophotographic sensitizers and organic EL elements, and to provide a method for producing the same.
This tribenzoazepine compound of general formula (I) [Y is H, an alkyl, an aryl, an acyl, an alkoxycarbonyl, an aryloxycarbonyl, an alkanesulfonyl or an arenesulfonyl; R1 and R2 are each H, a halogen atom, an alkyl, an aryl, hydroxy, an alkoxy, an aryloxy, an acyl, an alkoxycarbonyl, an aryloxycarbonyl, formyl, carboxy, sulfo, nitro or amino; R3, R4, R5 and R6 are each H, an alkyl or an aryl; (m) and (n) are each an integer of 1 to 4] is produced through the dehydration reaction of a compound of general formula (II).
