EXAMPLE: 11-[2-[(Phenylsulfonyl)amino] ethyl] thio-6,11-dihydroxybenzo [b,e] oxepin-2-carboxylic acid methylester.
USE: A thromboxane A2 antagonist.
PREPARATION: A compound expressed by formula III (A1 is OH, Hal, etc.) obtained by converting a carboxyl group of a compound expressed by formula II is reacted with a compound expressed by formula IV to afford a compound expressed by formula Va, which is then reacted with a compound expressed by formula VI to provide the compound expressed by formula Ia.
