Abstract:

To provide a new compound giving an agent for the treatment of psychoneurosis based on the CAE/SAE effect inhibiting action different from a neutral monoamine receptor agonist.

The new compound is 1-(benzofuran-2-yl)-2-(3,3,3-trifluoropropyl) aminopentane and its pharmacologically permissible acid addition salt. The compound has excellent inhibiting action on CAE/SAE effect and is useful as an agent for the treatment of psychoneurosis caused by the excessive neutral monoamine.
