Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compd. represented by formula I [wherein R1-R3 and each H, an alkyl, an aralkyl or an acyl, R4 is H, hydroxy, an alkoxy or an aralkoxy, (b) is a additional bond capable of existing in a case between C5 and C6, R4 is an oxo group in such a case that (b) does not express an additional bond between C5 and C6, R5 is COOR6 (R6 is H or an alkyl) or CH2OR7 (R7 is H or an alkyl) and (a) is an additional bond capable of existing in a case between C12 and C13].
USE: Treatment or prevention of recognition function disorder, cerebrovascular disease and a disease of the central nervous system.
PROCESS: A compd. represented by formula II (wherein R4 is H and R6 is mono- or polyglucoside) is acylated to obtain the objective compd.
