To provide a trip resetting method of a multi-air conditioning system in which trip resetting operation is achieved only when a trip factor is completely removed.
In a multi-air conditioning system composed of a common outdoor machine 1, and a plurality of indoor machines 5, 6 connected through a branch kit 4, upon tripping a compressor 12 of the outdoor machine 1 is interrupted, operations of the indoor machines 5, 6 are interrupted, and operation of the branch kit 4 is interrupted. Only when it is confirmed that a trip factor is removed, trip of the outdoor machine 1 is returned, and the trip of the indoor machines 5, 6 is reset only when predetermined time is elapsed after the operation of the outdoor machine 1, and further trip of the branch kit 4 is reset.
