PURPOSE: To obtain a submerged granulator whose inside is easy to inspect and clean by fixing a dividable agitating part and making an upper part and a lower part of a cylindrical horizontal tank movable.
CONSTITUTION: An upper part and a lower part of a cylindrical horizontal tank can be separated above and below and the hatched part is an agitating part which does not moved above and below and in an immovable condition. A sabmerged granulator consists of an upper part 1 and a lower part 3 of cylindrical horizontal type and an agitating part 6. In the agitating part 6, an impeller 9 is freely turnably fixed to a shaft equipped with a mount. A very small and accurate clearance between the wall of the cylindrical horizontal tank and the tip of the impeller 9 is set. The cylindrical horizontal upper part 1, the cylindrical horizontal lower part 3 and the agitating part 6 are integrally fixed by a locking device 7. Thereby the inspection and cleaning are easy and the removal and fitting of the impeller are unnecessary.
