A silicon carbide-made intermediate layer 7 excellent in heat resistance and heat insulation, is arranged on the inside surface of the trough base material 6, and a coating agent 8 composed of the mixture of ZrO2 and SiO2 excellent in heat insulation and the non-wetting property with the molten metal or the double oxides mainly consisted of these components, is applied on the surface of this intermediate layer 7, and thus, this durability is improved by eliminating intrusion of carbon into the molten metal from the coating agent 8 and preventing the thermal deformation of the trough base material 6.
