Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable any travel by avoiding a nominal line, etc., to be carried out and also dispense with pulling work by advancing a truck by itself by arranging main driving wheels on both sides of a vehicle body which has a width narrower than the inner diameter of a tube to be checked and bringing these wheels in contact with the inside of the tube to secure a space on a bottom part.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of main driving wheels 13-15 are arranged on both sides of a front body 11 which has its width smaller than the inner diameter of a tube to be checked and these wheels are driven by a plurality of motors 19 and 20 in a truck 10 for checking the inside of a tube. A plurality of driven wheels 21 are arranged in a rear body 12 and respective rotary encoders 23 are additionally attached to these wheels. The control device 25 of the rotary encoder 23 is connected to a motor drive device and the main driving wheels 13-15 are driven and controlled. Thereby, a space can be secured between the tube inside and the checking truck 10 and the truck may travel in the tube by avoiding a nominal line, etc., installed inside the tube. Pulling work for the truck 10 is not required by advancing the truck by itself.
