A dolly device is provided with: a dolly body having a pair of wheels (3) which are arranged at a distance from each other in the width direction perpendicular to the movement direction and which are rotatable at rotational speeds independent of each other; a drive device (16) having a rotating and driving output shaft; a differential device (19) for distributing an output, which corresponds to the rotational speed of the output shaft, to the pair of wheels (3) and rotating the wheels (3); a pair of braking devices (20) provided corresponding to the pair of wheels (3) and respectively capable of braking the wheels (3); a curving movement operation section for moving the dolly body along a curve by activating either of the pair of braking devices (20); and a control device (5) for controlling the rotational speed of the output shaft to a set value. The control device (5) has a rotational speed setting section (33) for setting, when the movement of the dolly body is changed from a rectilinear movement to a curving movement, the rotational speed of the output shaft to a value smaller than that during the rectilinear movement.
