Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain cholesterol 7α-hydroxylase(CYP7) useful for detection and the like of medicine which stimulates or suppresses the catalytic activity of human CYP7.
CONSTITUTION: The compounds is a catalytically active truncated human cholesterol 7α-hydroxylase or analogs thereof, which has, for example, deficient in membrane anchor region of human CYP7 consisting of 1-24 amino acids. This CYP7 is obtained by culturing E.coliTOPP3(ATCC 6.9401) including an expression vector pJL/H7α1.5.
