To obtain a tube material excellent in thermal stability, mechanical strengths, tear strength, resistance to gas permeation resistance to vapor permeation or the like by using a specific block copolymer.
This tube material comprises an isobutylene-based block copolymer composed of (A) a polymer block consisting essentially of isobutylene, and (B) a polymer block composed of a monomer component (preferably consisting essentially of an aromatic vinyl monomer, especially styrene or the like) not consisting essentially of the isobutylene. The isobutylene-based block copolymer is preferably composed of 5-80 wt.% monomer of the component B and 95-20 wt.% component A, and preferably has 30,000-500,000 number average molecular weight. As a result, the tube material excellent in various characteristics, capable of being used in a wide temperature range, and facilitating the recycle thereof can be provided.
