Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the change in the fitting tolerance of an opening part of a wound fishing rod by reasonably setting the direction of high strength reinforcing fibers placed in the innermost layer of a thermoplastic resin prepreg.
CONSTITUTION: A core bar 3 is wound with sheet-like prepregs 1 formed by mixing and weaving aramid resin fibers and carbon reinforcing fibers in an amount corresponding to three layers and further covered with a shaping tape, and then baked to form a fishing rod. The paralleling direction of the carbon reinforcing fibers in the prepreg 1 placed in the innermost layer of the fishing rod is set in the circumferential direction.
